Next Generation Press app for iPhone and iPad

Next Generation Press publishes original electronic (and print) books from What Kids Can Do, Inc., a national nonprofit organization focused on bringing media attention to the voices of youth. Our books feature voices of youth as a powerful force for justice, understanding, and social change. Whether from small rural communities or urban neighborhoods, young people speak here on issues that matter deeply to them.

Some Next Generation Press books are collaborative works by teenagers with adults; others present new young writers and thinkers. All raise awareness of the rising generation as keepers and creators of vital knowledge and vision. Youth advisers participate in all Next Generation Press book projects, and all profits are reinvested to support new projects.

Our Next Generation Press App allows us to embed audio, video, and other extras into a book, deepening its meaning and enhancing its impact. These multimedia features often bring readers the actual voices of our young contributors, allowing them to express their ideas more fully and directly.
